Monika Ortmann
Most oft he time I work with scraped and recycled things. My favorite materials are nylons. I often place my objects in nature contexts, as surprising intervention, for alienation, at the end to sharp view on naturalness of environments and – if necessary –redefine nature networks.

Monika Ortmann geboren in Bochum. Studium Kunst und Visuelle Kommunikation in Berlin und Dortmund, Fotografie bei Pan Walther. Studienaufenthalte im Orient. 1979 Diplom bei Prof. Pit Moog. 1979 bis 2002 Gründung und Leitung der Galerie K.L.E.C.K.S. in Herne. Lebt und arbeitet freischaffend in Wittenhagen/Vorpommern Rügen, Bochum und Berlin
