2007, Lemon Tree I, Clothesline, 1200 real lemons, plastic nets, 240cm Dm, Sculpture by the Sea, Sydney, Australia In my sculptures the yellow colour playes an important role. I am fascinated by this colour and it’s energy, which is a symbol for light, sun and south. I transform it into a three-dimensional shape,into various sculptures and  nstalltions. Many of my works are sitespecific and I very often use simple material like papermaché or natural material like real lemons or a dead tree. More

It touches me and I am inspired by the beauty and poetry of their ephemeral existance. I consider the images as a seperate part of my work  which sometimes has influence on my sculptures and installations. More
