A Road in the Landscape.철판, 콘크리트, 흙 100cm x 300cm x 70cm(h) 2017 흙이 채워진 철재 테이블에 최근 개설된 콘크리트 도로의 모형을 만들어 설치했다. 반듯하게 깔려진 콘크리트 위로는 풀들이 자라지 못하지만 흙 속의 풀씨들은 싹을 틔우며 자라 오른다. 시간이 지남에 따라 온실에 설치된 ‘도로가 있는 풍경’은 제법 무성한 풀과 어우러진 작은 생태공간이 된다. 이곳에는 이름 모를 풀들과 벌레들이 함께 살아간다.나는 새로 개설된 농로 주변이 의외로 쾌적해지는 것을 느끼고 이 작품의 아이디어를 얻었으며 자연생태와 인간의 삶이 대응하는 상황을 도로의 모형을 통해서 가장 단순하게 보여주고자 하였다. 자연과 인간 사이에는 필연적으로 영역 싸움이 있다. 자연을 관리하지 않고..
