도시와 자연, 인간의 조화를 탐구하는 시티애즈네이처(City as Nature)는 잡초를 치유의 동반자로 재해석합니다.

관람객은 전시 공간을 거닐며 직접 ‘나만의 잡초 허브티’를 조제하고 가져가는 체험에 참여합니다.

오프닝에는 작가와의 대화도 마련되어 있으니 많은 관심 바랍니다.

The Nature Art Cube Exhibition “12×12×12 + Nature” presents works created within a fixed cube of 12cm in width, height, and depth—an equal dimensional space that contains each artist’s unique reflections on nature and their diverse artistic expressions. 

Since its inception in 2017, the exhibition has been part of the international Nature Art movement, serving as a platform for artists from around the world to share their perspectives and messages, inviting nature as a partner in the artistic process.

Notably, 18 works from the 2024 Geumgang Nature Art Biennale Nature Art Cube Exhibition “12×12×12+Nature” will be featured in the Cheonjae Textbook for 5th and 6th grade elementary school art classes in Korea. 

This inclusion is a significant milestone, as it acknowledges the artistic and educational value of Nature Art within the school system. 

These works are expected to nurture eco-conscious sensitivity and creative thinking in future generations.

We warmly invite your interest and active participation in the 2025 edition of the Nature Art Cube Exhibition. 

Creating within the constraints of a small cube becomes a powerful way to engage with nature, enriching contemporary Nature Art discourse and building a meaningful bridge between nature and the next generation.

《자연미술큐브전 '12×12×12+자연'》은 가로, 세로, 높이가 각각 12cm인 정육면체 큐브 안에 자연에 대한 작가 개인의 생각과 다양한 표현 방식을 담아내는 자연미술 프로젝트입니다.

2017년부터 이어져 온 이 전시는 자연미술운동의 일환으로, 전 세계 자연미술 작가들이 각기 다른 시선으로 자연을 해석하고, 그 예술적 메시지를 공유하는 장입니다.

특히 2024 금강자연미술비엔날레 큐브전 출품작 18점이 초등학교 미술 교과서에 수록될 예정입니다. 이는 자연미술이 교육 현장에서 예술적·교육적 가치를 인정받았음을 보여주는 뜻깊은 성과로, 자연과 예술의 만남이 미래 세대에게 자연 친화적 감수성과 창의적 사고를 일깨우는 계기가 될 것으로 기대됩니다.

2025년 《자연미술큐브전 '12×12×12+자연'》에도 작가 여러분의 많은 관심과 참여를 바랍니다.

2024 금강자연미술비엔날레 《자연미술큐브전 '12x12x12+자연'》 출품작 18점이 천재교과서 초등 미술 5·6학년 교과서에 수록될 예정입니다.

이번 수록은 자연미술이 학교 교육 현장에서도 예술적, 교육적 가치를 인정받았다는 점에서 큰 의미가 있습니다. 

자연과 예술의 만남을 주제로 한 작품들이 미래 세대인 어린이들에게 자연 친화적 감수성과 창의적 사고를 일깨우는 데 기여할 것으로 기대됩니다.

Eighteen artworks from the 2024 Geumgang Nature Art Biennale’s Nature Art Cube Exhibition: '12x12x12+Nature' are scheduled to be included in the elementary school art textbook for grades 5 and 6, published by Chunjae Textbook.

This inclusion holds great significance, as it reflects the recognition of nature art’s artistic and educational value within the school curriculum. 

We hope that these works—centered on the theme of the meeting between nature and art—will inspire eco-friendly sensitivity and creative thinking in the next generation.
